wow what are some of you doing to get a couple hundred shop views in a day? I am only getting about 20-30... Would love to increase the number of views. Any advice?
I get between 300-500 a day, usually around 425. If I have a feature article out or interview somewhere online it will go over 1000. In all honesty switching my titles and tags made a HUGE difference.
What I focus on is getting outside of Etsy and bringing buyers in from other places. My sales went from 3-4 a month to several a week. I also kept changing my products and product photos to what was popular and selling. But really, your photos could be amazing and your product totally awesome, but if no one sees them, no one will buy them :(
SEO is great, but most of my views come from Etsy searches and direct traffic. Facebook and Pinterest are up there too.
Wow, I'm so jealous! We've been getting about 10 - 40 a day for the last month, and that's shop and listing views combined! It's a wonder we've had even the two sales we have. Looks like it's time to pull our socks up...
For the last two or three weeks I've been averaging 500 views and a shop heart a day. Sales are slowing down since last week, but they might have picked up in the first place because I added a lot of new items.
Wow you guys are so good. I got something around 20 during the weekend, on a weekday like today, I got only 7 :(. I guess I should put more work & time into it...
we're trend between 500-900 views a day. i'm not sure if this is because we are selling vintage clothing though, which seems to be a hot item.
i went to the etsy success symposium, and during daniellexo's lecture on titles and tags she said to be literal with your titles. we've been doing that and i think that it has made a really positive difference for us. she said to save the frilly titles until after your shop has a large following. i haven't checked yours so i'm not saying your titles are frilly..i just thought it was good advice.
at wendy- another thing i learned that might help with your titles is to go up to the search engine under hand made and type in earrings, or necklace and see what pops up on the scroll that slides down of search suggestions- use those in the beginning of your title if they fit the item and at the end of the title be more detailed about whether they are quartz or what color they are etc. that was another suggestion by daniellexo at the symposium that i think is really helpful!
Just 3 today! :-) And really just an average of 10-15 a day for the last month. But I've had five sales since I opened in February, and I only have 16 items listed in my shop, so I'm not going to complain. I'll just keep working at it and I know my little shop will grow.
