how can i get more views and sales?

ive been on etsy for a few years and i really love reading the quit your day job articals and some day wish that i could do that too. i've worked on my SEO, photos, and active on social media but i cant seem to get more views or sales. i get an average views of 40 per day and 5 favourites and 1 order a month if im lucky is this normal? do you have any tips on how i can improve my sales.

and here is our advice for what it's worth!

1.) TITLES: Concentrate on the first five words of your listing and match them to the most likely words a potential customer would type. Use the Etsy search bar to assist you. Start typing a potential search and stop, Etsy will make several suggestions and many shoppers will click on these rather than finish typing their search terms. Match them.

2.) Item description: You may not realize it, but the first two or three sentences of your listing will appear on Google searches and when you post links to your listings on Facebook or other sites. We recommend including the best sales pitch you can make at the top of your listing.

3.) WORK ON YOUR TAGS: Put yourself in the customers shoes. We recommend taking a step back and looking at Etsy differently than you are accustomed to as a shop owner. Use the Etsy search bar and go shopping for items similar to the items in your shop from the customers point of view.

I think you need to work on your pictures. Some of them are quite good, but others are blurry, most are different sizes (which I think looks unprofessional), and there are so many different styles that it makes your shop look non cohesive to me. Your close are bold, so the bold backgrounds distract from your designs. I like the yellow picture you took in the item below. The others in this listing not so much as they are blurry. I like the bold color because its playful and fun, but still allows your item to be the center of attention.

I also think your prices are weird. Some items seem way too low, others just right.

Overall I think your so close, and on the right track. Your shop is just disjointed and as an outsider I have a hard time understanding your point of view. I think if you can create a cohesive look and feel shoppers will have an easier time understanding who you are.

thank you for your advice, ill have to look at creating a cohisive look but im not sure how to go about doing that.

and yes i lowered the prices of my garments in hope that people would purchase i thought maybe the prices where off putting so thats why some are low and some are correct

I agree that a cohesive look would help. Some of your photos have backgrounds that compete with the item you are selling.

I like your banner and it's energy but don't use art as a background in your primary photos.

Use different tags and different tittles even the items you are selling looks pretty similar. post them also in different categories
