I made my facebook page for my jewelry a couple weeks ago, but I'm not sure how to get more views.. I put the link on my profile and posted it on my personal facebook page for friends and family.. but still nothing.. thanks for any advice!
I ran a contest with my friends from my personal page that liked my biz page last year. They had a month to "recruit" as many of their friends as possible to my page and I had prizes for the top 3. Their friends just had to leave me a comment with who sent them to my page. I went from 49 fans to 354 in a month! Good luck!

@Evie'sTool - yes, your FB link works :). Good for you for getting a page going; hopefully, you'll get some more followers as you build up your page content up.
@KthysKreations - if you "like" a page, you are pretty much following it. If you don't want to read the feed, then you can hide it, I guess. Do you want people doing that to your page, though ;)?
I try to like pages with my personal FB profile (which I don't really use, other than for this purpose), but then I also add them to my page "likes". I read the feed via my page, which I like because it's only other page feeds and not the "I had oatmeal for breakfast" nonsense that makes up so much of people's personal wall posts. And while I don't spend much time on FB, I *do* make a point of liking or commenting on the posts of the pages that I follow when I read. Takes less than a minute to scan the feed and see what everyone has been up to.
And, please, people: if you come on here soliciting for likes, and people like your page, RETURN THE LIKE! Remember: FB is about * social networking* and not just about you.
SonyaJohnsonArt- Thank you for letting me know the link works! I will get the content going! Any hints/tips on that? Tools are not as exciting as your gorgeous artwork!
Hi, I've been doing some liking, and it's important to like as yourself as well as your page for it to count. I was low on "fans" and a friend recommended a face book site called "send in the troops", it's a bit complicated but worth a look if you really want to increase your "likes".
I love the idea of Facebook ads.. never heard of them before. At the moment my facebook is a real dud. I know that I need new items and I have some done but I feel 'frozen' when I think of it. Does anyone else have this struggle?
hildes- Thank you for the like! I appreciate it and now I know not only the link is working, but so is the ability to like my page! I liked you the other day! Look forward to getting to know you! Michelle-
Please help me. I am so frustrated. After literally hours of reading and trying, I think I finally was successful in setting up my FaceBook page. I had a personal page already. Now I am going crazy trying to add "Like" box by my name. Would any of you please tell me how to do it?
As soon as I am able to insert the Like box I will be back to request that you Like my FP. I will gladly do the same for everybody here. Please help me.
MCsHandmadeTreasures- I just liked you so it is working! I'm so new to Facebook and not able to give you any other insight. Hopefully someone will pop in and answer your questions! Michelle-
Did you like me on my Facebook page? Then you must have seen the "Like" icon by my shop's name? If that is the case, then I believe I cannot see the "Like" box myself because I cannot "Like" myself. I cannot see that box on my own page, and that was driving me crazy...literally to the point of tears after studying, searching, etc. sooo much. I am so tired.
MCsHandmadeTreasures- Yes, as I mentioned above I liked your page a few minutes ago. It appears you liked me with your personal facebook page? Be patient with yourself! There is alot to learn! Many of us are learning at the same time! Michelle-
