Re: hitting the next level

I think that what is important is not the number of views, but the quality of views.

This. You mainly want your target market looking at your stuff, not just random views. You may have super beautiful boy clothing (just a random example), but it does not matter if I go look at every one of them ... I don't have a boy, so I wouldn't be buying it.

That said, there are always those that buy gifts for your target market. I may need a gift for a little boy, or a little boy's mommy, so suddenly, I become your target market.

Re: hitting the next level

Mine's more about $$$s than views. My views have averaged about 2000 in a month without having to pay for advertising. That's pretty neat to me. This month I hit 4000 views but I don't really count it because it's a crazy shopping month.

My goal is to pull in $500 a month in JFG sales, on or off Etsy, regularly by June. I'm thinking I can do this :o)

To hit $1000 in Sales! I am one order away. Hopefully that will get filled tomorrow!

My goal had always been $500 in sale, and this month just blew that away!

So excited, Congrats to everyone on their goals being reached!

Re: hitting the next level

My views are down from the last couple of weeks- I had about 4000 in the last 7 days last week, and it's down to just under 3000, but that's no problem! My next goal is to reach 400 sales on etsy by the end of December. I think it's going to be a challenge, but I have my fingers crossed! I've already reached my goal of having an average of over 1 sale per day, so it's time for some new goals now!
Congratulations everyone, and happy selling!

Re: hitting the next level

Oh my goodness, you guys get so many views and sales! I think it's an amazing day when I have 100 views.

Do you have any advice or insight into bringing more views and sales to my shop? I've tried everything from search ads to hosting a Facebook page to refreshing my item photos occasionally. What more can I be doing to reach the view/sales numbers that you are all achieving? I would love to learn from your experiences! Thanks so much. :)

Re: hitting the next level

My big goal was to hit 400 sales by the end of the year, and I am at 394 now so that will probably happen within a couple days. I'd like to average 2 orders a day this month (on track so far) and beat my record sales month for revenue which was October. As for views I mainly pay attention to views from search and places like Wanelo, the find, and pinterest that have turned into sales for me in the past. I hope to continue to increase my listings on Etsy (175 listings in my next goal), improve my SEO, and keep increasing sales and revenue.

Re: hitting the next level

Amalia, the best advice I can give you is to increase the number of items in your shop. You have less than a page of items listed. The more items, the more views, the more sales. That's how it works.

Re: hitting the next level

Hmmm. This is all good news for the most part. I love hearing from people who have had success.
My goal is to reach $500.00 for the end of first year. My other goal is to have 100 items in my shop by the New Year. Lofty I know. I've been open since mid November.
I too buy ads. I don't know if it helps or not yet but I do like seeing all the views it produces. That in itself is exciting to me.
