help...HELP!

Good evening fellow etsy successians. The last few weeks I have been in the process of creating a ton of inventory for my new shop, Creative Bride. My plan is to do themed sets. I just listed the first set, but I really need advice on the featured photo. It's so many items, but I cannot think of a creative way to display them all. I tried draping a sheet over a box for a multi-level effect, but it looked even worse. I'm sure I will end up re-shooting these a few times. I want people in searches to clearly see its a set with multiple items included.

Ideas please? I have a few other themed sets to list, but the photos are similar to these.

I don't think it's necessary to include ALL of the items in the set in the first listing photo. In fact, from an aesthetic perspective, you're likely to get more views if you only include one item in the primary photo.

In this case, I'd pick either the ring bearer pillow, the garter, or the flower girl basket. Maybe even make three different listings, one with each feature item and see over a month or so how which gets the most views?

Re: help...HELP!

It really does look cluttered. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try different listings, thanks Gena!

Re: help...HELP!

I think the second picture would look great as your main photo with maybe one other small item on the left in the picture. I would then put the picture with all the stuff as one of the other pictures on the listing. Hope this makes sense! :)

Best of luck!

Re: help...HELP!

One suggestion - not that you asked...
Near the top of the description, add a list of all the items the listing includes.
THEN go on to describe them.
Otherwise, it's kind of like reading a wall of text. And lists draw attention - which is great for people browsing with short attention spans!

Re: help...HELP!

This peacock set is really pretty. I might suggest you try arranging the items in a gift basket perhaps. You could also gather all the items in the set tighter together against a contrasting color fabric. If you have a chair they might all fit on, you could try draping the fabric over the chair to be behind your items as well as underneath. The items can be overlapping a bit in the main shot instead of spreading them out so much. It might allow a closer shot of the whole set, then you can show shots of smaller groups of items like you did maybe against the same contrasting fabric background. Hope this suggestion helps give you some ideas. Goodluck with your new shop.

Re: help...HELP!

Buyers typically do have short attention span, the list is a great idea! Again, the description seemed as cluttered as the photo, but I figured it was best to be thorough. Going to fix it now.
