Selling patterns?

Do you think it would be worth it for me to sell the patterns for my blankets? I found the original pattern online years ago, but I have tweeked it quite a bit to my tastes. Actually, what I should ask is if I can even sell it because I tweeked a pattern I found online? Do you think my blanket pattern is too simple, and nobody would buy it? I'm just looking for some new options. Any thoughts?

Re: Selling patterns?

Once you've tweaked a pattern I think it becomes your own.

I sell, a family crocheted pattern. I charge a bit more than the normal for it, because its so original.

Re: Selling patterns?

If you've altered the pattern to your own and don't plagarize the other pattern, you can certainly make one and see how it goes. I offer a few tutorials and put them in pdf format which is the best way to transfer e-files.

Re: Selling patterns?

Ok. Thanks for your advice. I was pretty sure that if I altered it, which I have, that it would be my own and not plagarism, but I wasn't so sure. :)
