I've been reading a lot of posts lately about how one shop would buy from another, but only if they had $$...

maybe you should consider the trade team? It's a great way to get gifts and other items you're looking for without paying any $$ and just trading items from your shop..

also a great way to get feedback if you have very little...

I've gotten great items through trading on etsy - especially useful for when I've spent all my $$ on supplies and need a gift =)

Yay for the trading! I just discovered trading a month or so ago, and thus, am halfway through my Christmas shopping! And yes, you get good feedback too.

Carol, there is a payment option called "other" which you activate and use as "payment" for a trade. Keep the item at its full amount so Etsy still gets fees, but that's it!
