I really thought this product would sell, but I can't seem to find a buyer. Am I totally off base? My new goal for my business is to find my ideal buyer (which crosses over several different categories).

If you think this is a decent idea, do you have suggestions of how/where I could market it?

I think you have a great product. I would just change the name because I was a bit confused.

Cute idea, but I don't have time (or great ability, lol) to sew. What if you offered for them to send in however many t-shirts and you do the sewing?

Also, I don't know that I would market it as a baby quilt. How about just a mini-quilt (for anyone) out of anybody's t-shirts? I have a stack of old t-shirts that I've held on to, but I wouldn't necessarily do a search for a daddy quilt, kwim?

OK, thanks. I do also offer making custom t shirt quilts in my shop - both sizes. I also have a pattern for the larger quilt, so I've reached the sewers out there. But those are people who search on quilt pattern. I think I have to figure out something different for a quilt kit. I like the idea of changing the name to some more general words

Call it a football / sports stadium lap throw ( it's football season)

could do some sports team colors/ or high school team colors

I think its a cute idea you have there. But I think you should offer them pre-made or have people send you their shirts to make them for them. Lots of people dont sew and dont want to spend the time doing it. You could charge a bit more for them to be "made". Or just buy old t-shirts from resale shops and make your quilts that way :) Ive seen people on here do that with jackets and they are always so lovely. You could call them Upcycled T-Shirt Quilts or something like that. You have a great idea :)

I thought about selling bracelet "kits" in my shop but I didnt think there woud be a huge market for it xD Most people want stuff already "made".
