Writing Workshop Follow Up

Thanks to everyone who came out (/tuned in) to my Writing Workshop last night! As promised, let's keep those pens a-scrawlin'.

If you have any shop writing you'd like feedback on, feel free to link or post it in this thread. I'll be checking back in and sharing my thoughts, but I encourage all of you to give feedback as well!

I was finally able to watch the writing class. This has been a struggle for me( I was part of that 50 some odd percent without a profile) I wrote one up and was wondering if I could get your feedback on it. I would really appreciate it.

I would say that I hang from a towering cliff by the tips of my fingernails but I don't have any nails left. I have special issues with getting started the right way on etsy.

I saw your writing class this morning and I was very impressed. I began thinking of what to do with my store then I thought of creating PDF's to show how to make those small totes of mine. I have no idea of how to make a downloadable PDF for etsy. Would you please help?

What programs do I need.
Can I use Microsoft Word.
How to add pictures.
How to make it downloadable for etsy sale.

I am sure there is much more to this than I think. Please fill in the details and/or refer me to someone/some site for additional assistance.

I'm not looking to get too crazy with my words - I'm not really into making up words - I don't think that will work for me.

I did do some editing - especially to my announcement and profile.

Hi mtraub and everyone else!
My question is quite the opposite of what many people have posted: I'm worried my profile, policies and item descriptions are a little too whimsical and perhaps not professional enough.
Any feedback would be great!

BlowHardGlass- your pictures are stunning (w/ the exception of the collage which I think is a little distracting: http://www.etsy.com/listing/76046844/design-your-own-hummingbird). I think you are right in thinking that your item descriptions don't match your pictures, they don't seem to go with your aesthetic. But kuddos on the amazing pics!
