Which day of the week do your sales increase or decrease?

Hi lovelies,

I relaunched my shop a month ago and have had 105 orders so far - I'm thrilled!

But I'm just wondering if anyone sees their sales spike on a particular day of the week? I usually get low sales over the weekend, and then higher on a Monday. I always wonder why?!

Does anyone else see a pattern in their shop?

For some reason my views are the highest on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons consistently. As far as sales there so sporadic I don't think there is a pattern. Except it seems to always be closer to the weekends that I seem to sale something!!

I was wondering the same- weekends seem so slow for sales & views but Tuesdays seem to be a good day to make sales for me.

Sundays used to be our big day, and then recently it changed to Wednesday or Thursday.

I've heard from a lot of people saying that they have had a slow month in high street shops too. Weird.

First of all, congratulations on 105 sales in a month! That is awesome!! I only have had 5 sales since April so I have no clue as to what day is the busiest. Even the number of views of my items vary from time to time. I just know that it has been very slow for me personally the last couple of months.

I get most of my orders on Sundays and Wednesdays. On my Norwegian venue all sales seem to tick in after 10 pm, so I guess I'm attracting night owls like me! They're always surprised to receive a prompt response from me at that time. ;)

Nearly all of my sales have been either on a Monday or a Thursday, I guess because then there's days to post still and it could arrive by the weekend. If I receive orders before 7am on any day then I always try to post on the same day.

I would have to say thus far in November Sundays seem to be the day we receive orders. Some views during the week but every Sunday I have received at least one order not sure why but I'm liking it.

I'm too new to have seen a pattern yet. I had two sales over the weekend, but then, I also had three on Fri. so I really don't know! :) But I'm happy!

Wednesday afternoons and all day Sundays are supposed to be the highest online traffic days with Saturday being the slowest. Also it may vary depending on your customer. When are they online? Are they international so their waking hours are your sleeping hours?

With holiday shopping gearing up, I imagine traffic will increase every day – especially this coming weekend and Cyber Monday.

Always, Tues, Wed., and Thurs. That is also the ONLY days I post on all the teams I am on.

It's really interesting to see that the best day isn't the same for everyone. It seems like a lot of people have success on Sundays and Thursdays.

Do you think it's best to push your most successful days even more, or make huge efforts to get the lowest sales/views days better?

Fridays seem to be my day. With the views dropping over the weekend and slowest on Monday.

When I look at my stats I see that usually Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays are my biggest days. Weekend tend to be slow because people aren't at their computer as much.....if they don't have an etsy shop that is. What I will say is that I don't post very often looking fot advice but when I do I get some good intel and I use it. I've focused on the things they tell me to as I can and I am astounded at the amount of sales they generated. Stunning.

I find the weekend realllllly slow for orders.
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday are my top days so far :)

I'm new to etsy, but already I'm noticing that my views seem to be lower at the weekend and peak midweek - surprising!
