I'm thinking of investing in a new camera. What do you recommend that is less than $500 (if possible) and is good for product photography? Is it better to make a light box and just use my iphone?
A canon rebel from ... 2010 ... I think that is the correct year.
Try getting one used. They are great cameras, but can be a little pricey! Perfect with a macro lens for small objects. I do not use a lightbox although maybe I should!
I use a Canon Rebel T3--it was a gift so I'm not exactly sure on the price tag. Also, natural light on an overcast day has always worked best for me--just shimmy on up to a large window!
