Shop has been going like gangbusters all month and all of the sudden 4 days ago, its nothing but crickets. Plenty of views but not one convo. Weird. I hope the system is working properly. Anyone else?
Same for me Dan, I've had more views, sales and convos in the last week than any other week in the last 2 months! Guess it's swings and roundabouts isn't it - my July and August were awful.
they could be messing with the search stuff again. even though i believe that stuff was supposed to stop for the winter holidays... O_o
few months ago, got a convo from a customer saying she couldn't search for my stuff...using my exact tags too. few days later...tags worked perfectly. so annoying. :(
my views are sort of down....or more, i am having to put a lot more effort into promoting to keep my views up at my daily goal #s. meh.
Same here. Views are way down, and the only sale I've had this week was from a returning customer. Have started spending money on re-listing...no change yet though.
Very depressing...starting to look around at other sites...and of course Ebay.
I was building up a pretty good head of steam and gaining confidence in this whole venture. Then suddenly a few days ago i was dead in the water. It's shocking.
Most of the eastern U.S. is on alert for the huge storm. Some buyers might be busy preparing for the storm right now. That's my guess on why views are down last few days.
I have noticed the same thing. Usually I get a lot of likes throughout the week. Sales are low (I still have to work on my end of that part) and I hope they pick up soon. It is rough over here in the east coast with the storm. However, I hope that is not the real reason. I wish everyone the best :)
October has been unusually slow for us...We were getting a little down and then "BAM" last night we had a sale! Our hopes are high for November! We just need to keep believing, marketing, working, and creating.
My views have been great for the last month. The last few days they went way down. Could it be the storm? I sure hope some of the favorites I get turn into holiday sales. Every time I list a stretch ring, someone favorites it. I am busy though prepping for two craft shows. That will bring cash for sure!
I'm not sure i never had great views but i had 5 sales in september despite not being active on here at all due to work commitments and now i've more time and listed more/updated tags & photos and nothing.....I'm outside UK so really hope it's not about DC as its not offered to us yet :(
It's not just Etsy. It seems to be slow everywhere, right now. I was reminded this morning by a friend that, at least in the states, retail is always dead right before a presidential election. Maybe that's part of it.
