Need more information to fill the order

I had two orders last week that did not give me the information I need to complete the orders. I have tried emailing and sent etsy conversations and have had no response. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do next. I need to know what size they need their watch band to be but they are not responding. I would appreciate any help any one can give me based on experience. Thanks, it looks like it is going be a GREAT Holiday Season here on Etsy.

Maybe Etsy or PayPal (if you used the latter) can give you guidance on this. Did you by any chance list a default size? Good luck!!

If you haven't listed a default size, I would cancel the sales (as painful as that may be!) because it could wind up being more costly (for you and/or them) to monkey around with having to correct sizing issues later on. Maybe to lessen the burden and ensure they come back to buy again, issue a 10% discount code to them with your last notice.

Definitely add a default size, especially as the holiday season draws near and last minute shoppers won't be able to wait for their items to ship out.

I totally agree with the default sizes as far too often people don't read properly, and are hard to get hold of.

I have a similar issue with my "choose any 3 coloring pages" listings. I simply add a line to my description stating that if no choice is entered then pages 1-3 will be sent. This places all the responsibility with the customer and I've not had any complaints yet!

For now, try a few ,ore times, both by email and by etsy convo. Remember not everyone is as glued to their email as we etsy sellers :-)
If the items are not one of a kind I would not rush to cancel the sale, as you can relist the item and won't be losing potential sales.

I'm going through the same thing. I had a customer place an order for a soap sack and then email me asking to order two instead of just the one I had available. I replied to the convo within 2 minutes and still haven't heard. I plan to give them another couple of days and then I will make the same color as the main photo and send it out.
