What should I do?

I've been really building up my inventory but I haven't been able to list anything because I lost the cord for my camera. I ordered a new cord but it won't be coming until sometime next week, which is practically the end of February. My phone takes pretty good pictures (but not as good as my camera), so I'm wondering if I should use my phone camera for now, and update my photos when my camera cord comes, or wait until I get my camera cord, and just work on making more items.

I would personally wait - it's a pain to redo everything! Or if you can edit your phone pictures to where you wouldn't redo them that's fine too!

I fully agree with BeaG. Same thing happened to me a couple months ago and I had to wait two weeks for my camara to be repaired while I made more inventory in the interim.

Never settle for something substandard when you can get better quality. You won't want to take photos, and then have to redo them all. People are very shallow when it comes to buying things on etsy, so showing your items in the best photos you can possibly do is a big advantage

Actually I would probably experiement with my phone. I only use my phone camera and I don't think my pictures are horrible and likely they would be just as good as I would take with an actual camera just because photography isn't one of my talents. It doesn't hurt to take a couple pictures with your phone and see who they can turn out with minor editing... you maybe be happier with them... you never know unless you try.

I would make more items. The pictures are what will sell your item, so they need to be great.

why do you have a cord to your camera? what happened to batteries? just curious, haven't heard that for a while..

I assume the cord is for connecting her camera to her computer.

@ 1AEON My camera does have batteries. I can take photos with my camera, I just can't upload any pictures because I don't have the cord that connects to my laptop
