What music do you listen to while you make?

Hi there!

When I’m creating, I need to listen to something that will motivate me to keep going. Whether I’m knitting, cross-stitching or baking, I’m always playing records to get myself in the right frame of mind.

Do you listen to music while you make? If so, what kind do you choose? Why do you listen to the songs or artists that you do? Do they amp you up and get you excited to take on the day? Do they drive you to create more? Do you prefer music that calms you when things are stressful? Does it help keep you focused? Do you listen to music that will entertain you when work feels monotonous? Do you like something with a good beat to dance to when you need a little break?

I love to listen to music while I am creating. My favorite is hard rock. That gets me in the mood to hammer. 😁 Some of the bands that I listen to are Disturbed, Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin.

The music I listen to while I make varied in the mood I’m in I can have a cool flow listening to some R&B Jams or be pumped up listening to some pop hits... it depends

I'm all over the place. Depends on mood and what speaks to me at the time.
Could be say Ashbury,or Sir Lord Baltimore to Graveyard,Rainbow or Rory Gallagher.
Or Celtic folk music to instrumental.

I also love all music! Christmas was super fun making my homemade cornbags for family and friends. I sing on my own when I don’t feel like listening. I do this when no one is home :) except the dog who can’t tell me to stop! Need to prep for kareoke night :)

It varies, but it's either deep cut classic rock, hardly ever what you hear on the radio, blues, jazz or some non pop stuff my kids have turned me on to.

Opera music :-) I read this book about the brain and creative thinking...supposedly it is great for stimulation!! So I listen to it while I jot down ideas.

Oh I can't create when is silence around 😊😊😊 I'm always listening to music, different genres from piano and classic to popular dancing or rock music, it depends on my mood for painting; or often I can just turn on TV or radio just to destroy the silence in the room, and then some thoughts will fill my head 😊😊😊
especially I love to listening to Hasegawa Tomoki and Maxence Cyrin music when I'm painting

Music has been really helpful for me and it effect me emotionally and mentally, but when its too much can distract me from whats around me.
