What music do you listen to while you make?

Hi there!

When I’m creating, I need to listen to something that will motivate me to keep going. Whether I’m knitting, cross-stitching or baking, I’m always playing records to get myself in the right frame of mind.

Do you listen to music while you make? If so, what kind do you choose? Why do you listen to the songs or artists that you do? Do they amp you up and get you excited to take on the day? Do they drive you to create more? Do you prefer music that calms you when things are stressful? Does it help keep you focused? Do you listen to music that will entertain you when work feels monotonous? Do you like something with a good beat to dance to when you need a little break?

When I am quilting, I like to listen to audio books - so great to be able to do two things at once, and if I get too involed in what I am doing, I just listen to that part over again. I like Clive Cussler because there is lots of action, and I love light , frilly murder mysteries

Im 80s pop music fan specially balads.
I love Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Bad English, Pet Shop Boys, UB40, Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson, Roxette, U2,Air Supply, list its infinite.
Also romantic spanish music of all times, brazilian music and uruguayan of course.
And..how forget "The Beatles", the best !

I like to listen to podcasts or books...
For music the Baby Driver soundtrack is awesome! Leonard Cohen, The Gorillaz, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley...:) I like a kinds of music.

I love the new age music Medwin Goodall and Enya are favorites. I am an artist and it's soothing and helps me get the flow of the work. Sometimes I'll Listen to more upbeat songs depending on what part of the paining I'm on I recommend a good sound system in your studio. Actually Pandora is kind of fun I will do shuffle mix.

I listen to Mumford and Sons 'Wilder Mind' album - It may sound weird but I feel like I can really get into the 'zone' and focus on making when I'm listening to it.
