What music do you listen to while you make?

Hi there!

When I’m creating, I need to listen to something that will motivate me to keep going. Whether I’m knitting, cross-stitching or baking, I’m always playing records to get myself in the right frame of mind.

Do you listen to music while you make? If so, what kind do you choose? Why do you listen to the songs or artists that you do? Do they amp you up and get you excited to take on the day? Do they drive you to create more? Do you prefer music that calms you when things are stressful? Does it help keep you focused? Do you listen to music that will entertain you when work feels monotonous? Do you like something with a good beat to dance to when you need a little break?

Pandora with all stations on shuffle. Everything from Herman's Hermits to blink-182 to musical soundtracks to Disney and top 40. A little bit of everything/

I like most music but what's on my Ipod is Hard Working Americans, Tom Snider, Pink, Adele, Bonnie Raitt, Patty Scialfa, Toby Keith,Bruce, Emmy Lou, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings etc.

I also listen to NPR a lot.

Hi there! I must confess that I am truly addictet to series.. As I am knitting or crocheting I can sit in front of the tv and watch the whole day got, pll or whatever I can find.. xD :)

And when I am sewing I need to go in our studio which I am sharing with my boyfriend who is musician. So I am listening to him while he is composing something..

This is going to sound cheesy, but I like to listen to Disney songs. Mostly because I know every word of every song, so I just keep on sewing along singing a song. Keeps me focused for some reason.
