What music do you listen to while you make?

Hi there!

When I’m creating, I need to listen to something that will motivate me to keep going. Whether I’m knitting, cross-stitching or baking, I’m always playing records to get myself in the right frame of mind.

Do you listen to music while you make? If so, what kind do you choose? Why do you listen to the songs or artists that you do? Do they amp you up and get you excited to take on the day? Do they drive you to create more? Do you prefer music that calms you when things are stressful? Does it help keep you focused? Do you listen to music that will entertain you when work feels monotonous? Do you like something with a good beat to dance to when you need a little break?

if i'm doing some product photography work i like to listen to coldplay , bob marly and some times red hot chilli peppers but i find my self jonzing for some old stuff like Johnny cash or some really old Jazz music

Music is one of my passions and I have many favourite songs. But when I bake, I use music just as background, so I prefer to listen radio stations.

Last week I discovered Etta James!!!! Totally into the 60"at the moment. She is amazing! But as a roll I only have music as a background and stick to the 432 Hz, from wihich there is plenty on YouTube - however my favourite is Infinite Waters!

I listen to a little bit of everything from just about everywhere. American Christian, pop, and rock; Korean pop, rock, ballads, and indie; French and German pop and rock. There's also instrumental piano and guitar as well as Sinatra and the like.
