What music do you listen to while you make?

Hi there!

When I’m creating, I need to listen to something that will motivate me to keep going. Whether I’m knitting, cross-stitching or baking, I’m always playing records to get myself in the right frame of mind.

Do you listen to music while you make? If so, what kind do you choose? Why do you listen to the songs or artists that you do? Do they amp you up and get you excited to take on the day? Do they drive you to create more? Do you prefer music that calms you when things are stressful? Does it help keep you focused? Do you listen to music that will entertain you when work feels monotonous? Do you like something with a good beat to dance to when you need a little break?

I am also very diverse in my music taste. I like everything to classic rock, country, jazz. It all depends on what I am doing.

I listen to audio books and Abraham-Hicks workshops. When I play music its soothing classical or my favorite vocalists - love Celine Dion.

I go from paramore to joy williams I know its crazy lol. I love a broad range of music and if my daughter comes to the shop usually taylor swift will be on per her request!

I listen to nothing, it keeps my mind clear of anything, digitizing takes a lot of mental and physical thought, usually it's quiet when my kiddos go to school and my babe is asleep. Mom needs that when I'm working. Otherwise I have to much going on to think.

I love Hulu and Netflix And my Xfinity app. I love to listen to shows. But when I really need to focus...Pandora...especially my Awolnation station. Great beats for painting.

Hi All!
It depends. While I am sewing it is always Ingrid Michaelson, Natalie Merchant, or funnily enough, Christmas Music!
However when I am writing it is Celtic, Dido or Broadway!
Does anyone else have the challenge of needing background noise while creating?

I might be strange, but I need complete silence while I am creating...if I am making a duplicate of something I have already made then I love to listen to podcasts, and music, but when I am creating a new design or trying to make a design better, I need complete silence...
