What music do you listen to while you make?

Hi there!

When I’m creating, I need to listen to something that will motivate me to keep going. Whether I’m knitting, cross-stitching or baking, I’m always playing records to get myself in the right frame of mind.

Do you listen to music while you make? If so, what kind do you choose? Why do you listen to the songs or artists that you do? Do they amp you up and get you excited to take on the day? Do they drive you to create more? Do you prefer music that calms you when things are stressful? Does it help keep you focused? Do you listen to music that will entertain you when work feels monotonous? Do you like something with a good beat to dance to when you need a little break?

I love listening to Animal Collective, and the more stuff I get done while I listen to them (especially the Merriweather Post Pavillion album), the more they put me in the mood to get to work! It's like a self perpetuating cycle

If I want to start up my self then I put to play Klingande Punga or Jubel, but also I like to listen NÖEP Move.
But mostly it depends what day is and what I have to make.

Lately, I've been listening to Pandora hits of the early 1970's when I was a young adolescent and teen. Kind of embarassing sometimes! Some of the songs were quite strange! Lots of good ones in there, too!

I listen to classic rock like AC/DC, The outfield, Deff Leppard, KISS and ect. I like to listen to indie and alternative rock. I listen to random music which hits my soul and makes me to fly with my mind a bit. And I found awesome bands called Wet and washed out.
