What is the max quantity you can put on a listing?

I am doing an outside ad and they will be linking directly to my Etsy product but have asked that I make the quantity the max and I can't tell what that is.

Any ideas?

I seem to only be able to put 3 digits in the item count field, so I would bet on 999 ;)

Holy moly...Although it would be great to get 999 sales I think I might just die. I work outside the home and do this to hopefully one day only do my business. I guess I will put in 100 and see where it goes.

999 infers that it's not handmade and out of a box marked 'made in china', or is that just me,......

That depends on the item. I could (but don't) put a quantity of 999 for my PDF patterns because I can sell an unlimited amount since they are already made and just need to be emailed. But, time-consuming, made to order pieces with a quantity of 999 would definitely look off.

I agree completely! I think I will stick with 50-100. I believe the max daily sales this ad has had is about 15. I can do 15 of my double minky blankets in a reasonable amount of turnaround time. I may have to take a vacation day but I could do it. :)
