I would love to be in a store (or two, or three!) and have wholesale accounts. I just submitted pitches to two stores yesterday! I've got everything crossed - eyes, hairs, toes, and fingers!

My original goal was to make 100 sales this year. That has been put on hold as I realized I needed to go back to the beginning and take a good look at my strategy. Working at my day job, with a 9 month old, and expecting another in September, hasn't left me much time to devote to my Etsy shop.

Recently I've overhauled my Instagram account. I deleted old or ugly photos. I'm working on taking better photos to display. I have several that are waiting to go through the editing process.

Another area I'm working on is stocking my Etsy inventory. At the beginning of the year I had about 7 items. I removed some of them because the profit margin was not that great. Now I have about 15 items for sale.

The goal I'm working to is adding 5 new listings each week, but right now I'm averaging 2-3 each week.

The next area I'm tackling is Facebook and how to work my personal blog into the mix.

Another thing I would like add is International Shipping. I'm a little scared of shipping outside the US because I don't know what forms, fees, or shipping costs would be.

To finish listing all the beautiful altered couture items I made while spending 6 months abroad in the middle of a beautiful piece of the Atlantic rain forest, which was farm land many years ago when I first bought it. That was such an inspiration, now I just HAVE to finish listing everything!

I had an idea come to me about a team that used a step by step production type method to an end result. Bear with me. So let's say we are making a purse. I personally like to crochet so I first had to figure out if I could make a piece of crochet material that another person could cut to any size wanted. The answer is yes you can with binding before cutting. You can use material or glue to bind off just before your cut line and just after and cut in between. So back to production. I make the crochet material, another makes the embellishments, another the pattern, and another sews. We have a shop for the final projects. We each by from one another to create the final project. When the final project sells the sale is divided by the number of team members and paid each as a commission. There is no limit to the ideas we can make and when we find a fad that is selling it will be easy to produce items in quantity for our public. I got the idea looking at crocheted sweaters for sale and wondered how department stores could come up with a quantity of one crochet sweater. What do you all think? My goal is to get my first (non-commissioned) SALE!

I've been working hard on marketing my shop, SEO, and learning about the community. I've had many views and favorites but no sales, and I hope that changes soon. My original goal was a sale within the first month of selling, but that didn't happen, so my new goal is within the first three months.

My business is increasing by leaps and bounds thanks to the tips in Etsy Success newsletters (BIG THANK YOU HUGS!!!)
My goals for 2016 are to continue that trend, but specifically to double my current monthly sales (monitored weekly) and develop higher-price point items. ($35-$99)
2nd priority goal is to achieve Crochet Guild of America Masters certificate (to add credibility to my professional profile)

I met one of my goals today = I've reached 50 item listings! And I have a few more to add later this week. Woo-hoo!

I've been working hard on my SEO strategies and being active with my Etsy teams. I hope this leads to meeting my Etsy sales goal of the year = 10 sales. Only 7 more sales to go to get there!
