Re: What are your goals for 2016?

Hello Team,

This year our shop has changed names and we are changing merchandise as well. We went from being all about fresh produce type signs, to a more relaxed sierra decor. We have much more options available now and are excited to make our shop the way we have wanted for a few months now.

For our goals in 2016 we hope to reach new customers and make etsy profitable. I want to make a ton of new product that sells consistently, join more teams and make new friends within the etsy community. We love being part of Etsy and talking to other successful sale teams. Thank you for all your help last year and in 2016.

Love & light,
Sierra Art Shop

Loved the Young entrepreneur's story. My granddaughter wants to sell on Etsy but she is only 11 years old. Is she eligible at that age to open a store? If not, at what age are you able to open your own store?

I think this year I am going to try to do some shows. I moved away from them in the past because they didn't pan out but I think it's time to try again

Re: What are your goals for 2016?

My goals this year are exciting to me. i've had this etsy shop open in the past just selling a bit of artwork that i was making at the time. After a couple year break. I've relaunched with a branded style of art i have love loved loved for years... i'm so ready to take on a business with it. i feel i can real make it, because the response as been wonderful and welcoming and i LOVE making it.

So my goals.... more products in my Etsy shop with my illustrations, , sketch or paint everyday and share it to help me stay motivated and improve as well as explore, get my products into more stores and there is a few that i really would be thrilled to work with, pursue licensing my artwork, try my hand at the pottery wheel, Big Goals but they excited me just thinking about it.

Re: What are your goals for 2016?

I had to take last year off from craft shows due to being on bed rest with my pregnancy so I'm hoping to get back into doing shows again this year.

I would like to actually turn a profit this year so I'm keeping track of my spending and earning.

To do more marketing so I can sell more

Re: What are your goals for 2016?

I don't give myself goals really, but this year I have -to spruce up my shop. So I am redoing my listings - a painfully tedious but necessary task. And it starts today with me redoing the photo listings. Here is a picture of my new page one - this one is more cohesive , using a common background. Before I do all the other listings , can I have some feed back please? I have compared this against my page 2 which hasn't yet been touched.

I am due to start Maternity leave from the day job in a few weeks time, and I don't want to go back! hehe. My goal is to work hard at my business during maternity leave, embracing Etsy as much as possible, and making it enough to be my only income! x

Re: What are your goals for 2016?

Oh 2016, what's in store for me??!
My number one goal is to increase my sales and visibility (isn't that everyone's goal though??). Number two -increase my inventory to 100 items. I also want to be more active in the etsy community...supporting other shops and drawing on the knowledge of successful shop owners. If anyone wants to take a peek at my shop and message me any advice/constructive criticism, I would so greatly appreciate it!!! ❤

Re: What are your goals for 2016?

Hi everyone!

My main plans are:

- Join Patreon
- Expand my product line
- Try to complete one new picture each month (so one new print per month to add to my shop)
- Experiment with linocutting/woodcutting/screenprinting with a view to being able to add hand pulled prints (or cards) to my product range

...and we'll see how that goes!

Good luck everyone with your goals and new ventures!

Re: What are your goals for 2016?

I just posted my 100th item on Etsy. That is a milestone for me. My goal is to have 200+ items in my shop by this time next year. I also plan to learn new techniques to make jewelry. I plan to go to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show next year, also.

Re: What are your goals for 2016?

Last year was my first year on Etsy actually selling. (I had opened a shop in 2011 but never listed items till 2015) It was quite a learning experience - learning how to take better pictures, SEO's, tags, shipping profiles, etc.

This year I have concrete goals for my business as I grow :)
1. Obtain Accounting software - purchase and input all information so I can better track my profits/expenses
2. Change ownership from sole proprietor to LLC
3. Grow sales by 25%
4. Commitment to more marketing :)

Re: What are your goals for 2016?

I've recently adopted the BuJo method of keeping track of my goals and manage my time more efficiently. For whatever reason, it seems to work for me. It's taken me a few weeks to get into a groove and it's evolving, but my goal is to work smarter in 2016. I'm taking it one quarter at a time as I introduce new habits and get them nice and solid. For me, it's about being realistic with my time and concentrate on what I can do differently as opposed to constantly comparing myself to others. :) Posting to my teams regularly is one of those goals so today is where I change putting a sad face on my log to putting a smiley face for posting this!! Contributing!!!!
