Hi everyone.
My name is April and I'm a new Etsy vendor (only one week active with my shop) so I'm as green as they come. I've put my best foot forward, but find myself in need of some good strong council/ advice.
As artists/crafters, we invest a lot of time and effort into our work to make sure that it's "perfect" before we show it to anyone. Our shops are a direct reflection of us...so I, like you, want to do it right.
It is in this spirit that I'm asking all of you for your critique of my shop... thebijouxboxboutique.
The purpose of this discussion is to foster open, honest dialogue amongst ourselves about our own, and each other's shops.
What works, and what doesn't.
I find that if I look at something for too long, I can no longer see my own mistakes. I'm hoping that we all can be "a fresh set of eyes" for each other.
Whether it be something as simple as a misspelled word, or major like a mismatched picture and item description, we can use this page to gently help each other add polish to our shops, and point out errors to us before our customers do.
(After all, nobody wants to argue with a customer over a $50.00 item that you'll have to sell for $5.00 because a zero was missing or the decimal point was in the wrong place.)
I hope this page will useful to you all and I look forward to input.
