I've been open a year and a half. Last year I wasn't sure what Black Friday or Cyber Monday were, but I put up my little discounts and sat shiny eyed behind my computer screen, waiting.
Nothing much came of it, but I knew right from the off that I was too new to receive much attention.
This year is different. I'm hoping my shop is old enough to walk, not crawl, now, and I'm also hoping that I've got enough knowledge on the upcoming shopping holidays to get by.
I am VERY eagerly awaiting the Etsy Success newsletters that will detail such information, but I'm wondering what other sellers picked up last year.
My banner already states when my Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale will begin, I've sorted out my discount code, and I even went as far as to buy a shop hop spot on thewonderforest.com
I'm stocking up on craft and shipping supplies, and I'm ready to go - but have I missed anything? Obviously I will be adding the holiday tags to my products, but what else can I do? I've been sure to mention the sale on my blog, and every post that has been schedueled for the 4 days, be they related or not, also have my discount code along the top.
So does anyone have any previous experience that I and others can benefit from?
