First Goal: Achieved!

A few months ago, I set a few goals for my shop that I hope to reach by my one-year anniversary (this coming February). One of them was to reach 52 sales - at the rate I was going back then (a few sales a month), that was a lofty goal. However, selling Christmas ornaments have put me over the top, and I realized that I reached my goal this weekend!

My other goals are still in the works:
- reach 100 items in my shop (I was at 89 at one point, now the holiday rush has put me way behind)
- get all of my items on white backgrounds (re-photographing and editing is a long process for me...)
- appear on the Front Page or Etsy Finds (hopefully more items and better photos will help me get closer to this)
- reach 100 facebook fans (I'm at 70ish right now)

I have a long way to go, but it was very exciting to reach one of my goals!! Any thoughts on important goals that I'm missing? What are your goals for your 1st (2nd, 3rd, etc.) Etsy-versary?

Congrats on achieving your first goal!

While mine are:
1. Hit 100 listing (now 75)
2. Hit 50 sales on the holiday season (now 13, still long way to go but i'm really looking forward to have 50 sales!)
3. Get a wholesale order

Congratulations on reaching your goals!!! That's always such a great feeling! I started thinking about it, and because of the time it takes to make a lot of my items, I kept my goals low. I wanted at least 1 sale a month! I just realized that my average sales have surpassed that! I've reached my goal!

Now I'd like to increase that goal!

I wouldn't worry too much about having 100 items in your shop as long as you are selling what you have.

My goal for my first year on Etsy was to make at least 5 sales each month and I did manage to meet that goal.

Now that Etsy has become an integral part of my overall business plan my main goal is to be able to cover a good portion of my living expenses with the income from the shop.

Congradulations on your Achievement! My goals are much smaller then the rest of you it seams but its still goals

By Christmas. I hope to make

50 sales (At 21)
To make a revenue of at least $550 (At $251)
35 likes to my FB fan page (At 23)

im still relatively new, and getting new products made up and on to the site with decent photographs is a huge challenge for me with an 18 month old, cooking housework and the rest of it. but im slowly getting there.
i hope to achieve by first sale by the year end so still waiting for that first sale on etsy...
but i plod on...

I wanted in my first year to
1. List 100 items
2. Reach 50 sales
3. Redo all of my photos

I have achieved 1 and 2, I am now working on 3, I still have three months to go so I hope I do it

The goals I hope to have accomplished before my 1 year anniversary are...

• Reach 50 sales (currently have 15)

• Have 100 likes on my facebook fan page (at 60)

• Make at least 2 new product introductions.
