Hey Team!

We'd love to understand how you're using third party tools to help manage your shop and/or improve your Etsy experience. Do you use apps (such as these: https://www.etsy.com/apps/) in your shop? If so, which are the top two that you use and how often do you use them? All the time? Once per month? Something in between?

Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks with us and your fellow sellers. You're the experts, and we love hearing what you have to say.

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

I have a question for FotoFuse users. How do you save a picture once you edit it? Can I save it into a folder on my computer where the original is?

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

The only app I use is the Etsy App for my iPhone. I love the cash register sound when I get a sale, and it's great for checking listing details when I'm not near my computer.

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

Hi, I have a question. Is there an app which makes it easier to send messages to the team threads? I will use it to post my new items. It takes a long time to post them one by one.
Thanks for any response.

Betsi is amazing. It is such a helpful tool -- as so many others have mentioned. It's great to be able to bulk edit listings in all facets.

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

I cannot use any app or program that states that in using it I am giving them permission to edit my shop an know my account info.
That is too scary!
How can you allow that?
I would feel like a sheeple.

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

I use Craftopolis and Etsy Gadget, I also use Etsy Fu. Those are the only ones I use but I use them all several times a week. (I know I was only supposed to list 2 but I could not decide which one I would leave off)

Aura, if you don't give them permission to access your shop there is no way to use the functions of the app. They don't go in and change anything, you do all the changing, but if they app can't access the info they won't work. You don't have to use apps if you are not comfortable but I have found them to be a wonderful asset to running my shop.

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

I use Etsy on Sale every couple months with great results.

Am looking at Betsy and Enhantsy and working through them to decide if they are worth keeping.

I love the idea of some of the daily activities I perform being more automated and am looking for the best in bulk editing, listing, convos and promotion.

Some of the ideas shown here, look promising :-)

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

This is wonderful information... love this thread! I really do appreciate hearing from other shop owners what is helping with their sells. I also use Outright (which is now owned by GoDaddy) and find this to be a huge help in keeping my books. We did opt for to upgrade but for a whole year it was under $90!

I just started using Pinwoot which was recommended from another Etsy shop owner. This is a great way to get your items moving on Pintrest! My total shop views from Pintrest last year is now less than it has been since I started using Pinwoot four weeks ago... great app and very economical for the price to promote.

Use the following link to access and when you share with others you receive a credit!

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

enhantsy It's not that I "wont" but I DONT make treasury's without it far to much time. Landed me in a team that got me on the front page in a week b/c of it.

I like etsygadget to see how I am doing in relevancy, without scanning and counting pages.

and pinwhoot(not to be confused with storewhoot/etsywhoot) had dramatically increased my views from pinterest.

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

Hi guyz (:

Are those apps available only via smart-phones?
I don't find it comfortable working with my smart phone and prefer a good old-fashioned work with my computer.

Could you kindly suggest an app for a quick treasury making?

Thanks (:

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

Hi there!
I do not work for Betsi...Betsi works for me.
That being said, I love the Betsi app. It's fantastic. Our shop has nearly 300 listings and Betsi makes me soooo happy every time I used it. The standard Betsi (subscription) is worth every penny in the hassle it saves. Editing listings individually can be frustrating when you have a lot of them to update.
Seriously, Betsi makes running an Etsy biz so sweet. Can you tell I like Betsi?
Peace,
Claire

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

Wow !! I am thrilled that I found this thread!! So many wonderful suggestions. I have been struggling the past 2 months due to getting the flu, then pneumonia and complications from everything, so now that I am back in the land of the living I am so far behind with items expired, tired dark photos and I really need to get back on track. I am going to check these out! Thank you so much everyone for being so generous with your tips. I love the etsy community!!

Re: What Apps Do You Use?

I use Besti, EtsyonSale, Storewoot and about half a dozen others depending upon what I want to do. By using the marketing channels available through third party apps, I have been able to build my following and sales year over year. It takes dedication and hard work -- there is more that I do that is unrelated to making jewelry for the shop than is related.

But for the shop itself -- I use related apps to etsy, there are other apps I use for marketing sometimes also.

But my current favorite is StoreWoot.

Edit: the etsy-fu app is brilliant. I use that as well to automate some of my tweets.
