What Apps Do You Use?

Hey Team!

We'd love to understand how you're using third party tools to help manage your shop and/or improve your Etsy experience. Do you use apps (such as these: https://www.etsy.com/apps/) in your shop? If so, which are the top two that you use and how often do you use them? All the time? Once per month? Something in between?

i use fotofuze to get the white background in my pics. it is really easy and i don´t have to make any other adjustments on my pics

I use the' Etsy tab' app for android, because it enables me to make treasuries easily. (l couldn't work how to do it on my tablet )....but Etsy tab makes it easy for me. The only problem is that l haven't worked out if or how l add tags.

Since I started using Fotofuze, my sales really took off. I know many don't like white, but what the heck, it works!

I use Etsy mobile app too. So fun to hear the cha-ching when you get a sale!

I use Storewoot. As soon as you promote a product, it will start appearing to these 21,000+ Pinners on our website and it will keep promoting your product to till you get minimum 30 repins on Pinterest. Amazing!

I just discovered StoreWoot as well as the 30 Second Catalog Builder from New in Store. I love that StoreWoot does the promotional work for me, and love how crisp the design of the catalog builder is! It literally had my catalog done in minutes and I could take my files straight to the printers to send out for wholesalers and brick and mortar shops. I was thrilled with the results there!

One thing I'm NOT able to use is the Esty app for iPad. I have an older iPad, and Etsy requires an IOS more current than the one I have. (5.1, I think. And I'm unable to update to 6 or 7.)

SHIPSTATION.. omg ship station is the only way we can do the order quanity we do. It puts all our etsy, website, and other venue orders into a common dashboard and lets us print invoices and labels (ups/usps/fedex) all in a common stream. It is AMAZING and don't know what we did before we found this last spring. Cut our shipping/pack and ship time from 6 hours a day to about 2.

Don't really find any apps necessary.

I prefer my pics to be actual....its just ME, and I'm old fashion that way.

I just think the customer should SEE the true item I sell, not touched up, tweaked, sparkled, fairy dusted, shadow enhanced or white fake background.

I'm sure my post will not be popular.

I use the Etsy Calculator to calculate my etsy prices. I have it on my mac and it is also available for the iphone. The mac version has a lot more features then the phone version

Thanks for all the advice on these handy apps. As a newbie I've been looking at a few lately and there are so many to choose from it's hard to know which are going to help or hinder.

Also to add Easy Social Shop: http://www.easysocialshop.com/ seamlessly integrates your Esty shop with your Facebook Page. It's the only one I found that redirects your customers to check out through Etsy which is really important especially if you offer instant downloads.

I use BETSI regularly. I would love a more functional standard Etsy app. The one I use, which I think is just the regular old one, is really hard to work with on my phone. I am not able to do much.

Hmm, I've actually never tried Betsi and am now curious to do so. I'm currently using Craftopolis and have used Etsy on Sale as well. Tried Fofofuze for a while, but it HATES my white cards so I switched to PicMonkey instead. I'm currently using ShopSeen and have my Storenvy shop linked to it as well.

Thank you for suggesting BETSI-what a great tool!! I found it very useful and I liked the tutorials (sometimes tutorials for programs can be so dull-these are not) and I found the tag area very helpful.

Thanks for the App suggestions! I would love to know if anyone uses an inventory app? I would like to keep better track of stone and metal inventory if anyone has an app they prefer? Or a program?

The only app I have used is Outright (now Go Daddy). It is llinked to my Etsy shop and my PayPal account. I like that it keeps track of everything for me. I just add additional expenses I incurr on my own and always have the figres at hand.

I really love Instagram! That's my favorite app because I LOVE taking photographs!!! I've been posting "sneak previews" of my current scarves-in-progress at my Instagram account at The Weaver Of Words. I'm also doing a few Free Giveaways on Instagram of my "Custom Stories" (eg-give me 15 words and I'll tell you a tale) with the winning stories posted on my Wordpress blog at www.averyfairytale.wordpress.com I also use Twitter; when I finish up a new listing I tweet it out.

After reading this thread I thought I would have a go at BETSI LITE......and there was my day gone! I think it will be great once I have got the hang of it. I used it to remove phrases and odd words from my titles, and ended up with a load of spaces and commas, which I am having to go through one by one....over a hundred listings! I can see where I went wrong though and would still recommend it :)

I have been using 'Store Woot' which helps to promote your listings on pinterest and I think it has helped to get more views on my items x
