View counting seems to be wrong

I've had this happen before and just can't figure it out. I just listed this item this morning. It has received 3 views and has 6 favorites. How does that work? My stats say the same thing. is that a problem with the view counting or what?

No you can favorite an item without viewing it by clicking on the heart in the upper left corner.
It happens a lot with items in my shop.

Someone may have seen your item's thumbnail and favorited it without clicking the link for the listing.
