Updated Shop

Even though I am still constantly updating my shop (photos, tagging, etc as I see it fit) I wanted to know if I'm headed in the right direction with my shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/IridescenceisBliss
Any suggestions or ideas are helpful
*note: on the photos, I'm still experimenting a bit and currently considering a single set background rather than what I have now

Re: Updated Shop

Hi Jasmine,

You're right; it's always good to review, update and and try to improve. Here are my suggestions:

Photos: I'm not too keen on the beads casting dark shadows on the background. I prefer a simple background rather than the checkered one. Perhaps try photographing from different angles under natural lighting, or have someone model your necklaces. That would really show how your creations look on a person.

Tags: Repeat keywords exactly from your titles in your tags.

For this listing, tags could include: layered necklace, seashell necklace, copper beads, beaded necklace, iridescent beads, natural style, earthy style, brown beads, tropical necklace, seashell gift, etc.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your shop!

Re: Updated Shop

shadows in the photos was one of the things I was in the process of trying to figure out how to fix- so far I only figured out how to with the close up shots
Featured/Thumbnail shots have been something I've been debating on how to approach setting up my products

Oddly I've gotten the advice to use natural lighting before, but all the photos I have up now are all purely sunlit- hence another photo issue I've been in the process of trying to resolve
