Hey all!
Is anyone experiencing ridiculous USPS delays on both the sending and receiving side? I'm getting the blame from my customers and don't know how to explain it anymore. Someone told me they shut down a bunch of sorting facilities and that's the cause but who knows.

Re: USPS delays

"processed through sort facility" yes, that means good luck and it gets there when it gets there. Since they no longer station to station track it has become the equivalent to "please hold". Without the please. lol.

Sorry to sound so annoyed it is just so frustrating and we are without recourse. Live chat doesn't work, the 800 # is only a voice answer system that you can never get through to a person. I finally got someone through the local telephone number but the person wasn't actually local based on the accent. It's the distinct lack of customer service that is irksome.

Re: USPS delays

Yes! I have one item that was mailed on March 10 and still hasn't made it from IL to AL...it took 6 days to go to a sort facility that is 30 miles away.
Even though I have tracking, USPS can't locate my package and Easy says that they can't do anything about it. I had to make a new item and pay twice as much to send through UPS.
This sucks! I agree with Kristin, I called the 800 number and got stuck with a menu loop and no real person to talk to.
Gr!

Re: USPS delays

I have had my first convo from a US customer. Because of this tread I asked her to wait a little more. I hope this is my last problem for my already sent items. *fingers crossed*

Re: USPS delays

Yep, not the only one, I had a package that was marked undeliverable because of incorrect address (which was customer error) however, the help I received from USPS was absolutely horrendous, from the can't barely get a human on the phone to when I did the nasty attitudes and then the package not showing up as scanned to come back. Fortunately i was able to make a whole new set of jewelry for my customer, and get it to fedex to ship out and it got to the customer in time for when he needed it. That horrible experience was the last straw for me with USPS I moved my business to FedEx. I don't have the time, patience not to mention the extra money spent to have to reship items or remake items because of the USPS errors and I am not a fan of nasty attitudes. Bad business and nasty attitudes are a total deal breaker for me!
