Shop View Trends

Good Morning!

I am a fairly new shop and have been working on my Etsy relevancy over the past few weeks. For those well-established shops, are there certain days of the week that typically have higher views for you than others? I know views will increase over the weekend when most people are off of work and wanting to shop, but didn’t know if a particular weekday has historically had more views for you than others. I had a good amount of views yesterday, but today they’ve dropped. Does Wednesday produce more views than any other weekday? I’m trying to get an idea as to whether the title and tag changes I made last night for two of my listings have caused the decrease. I’m still showing up on the same pages and positions as I was yesterday (if not better) for those keyword searches which led people to my shop, so I don’t think the changes I made have caused the decrease, but wanted to get a few shop owner’s opinions on weekday views and its trends.

My views were way up, then drastically dropped yesterday and today. I'm wondering the same thing!

I wondered the same thing! For me on Monday, I had over 20 views (which is a good day for me), but yesterday 5 and today only 4. :( I have been open for 1 month, so I am new too.

I find from a Friday night through to a Sunday morning seem to be the quietest for views coming to my shop.

I can't help much. I just reestablished my shop a little over a month ago (it looks like I've been open for years, it was an old account) - I'm struggling with sales. My views are higher on weekdays and drastically drop on the weekends, still not translating into sales.

It varies depending on what you sell, I sell jewelry. My days are over 100 views. I think something is up when views are below 100. Most of my views are search views, second Direct. My lowest day is usually mid-week with high days from Saturday through Monday. Most of my sales used to come on Sundays, but now days it has no pattern. I have been here 4+ years and thinkof myself as fairly successful on Etsy. :)

There are many things that affect views, including recency of items in your shop, what you sell & what people are searching for. The best way to ensure a steady number of views is to work for it. Join a few teams suitable for your niche, and participate in "viewathons" or "clickathons." There are a lot of promotional opportunities in Etsy, but you have to spend the time to make them work.

Friday night and Saturday are pretty good for us, and Sunday is usually off the charts. These are also the times when we have the most sales.

I have spent three years trying to figure that out, and I haven't ever seen a real consistent day of the week or time of day to get views or sales. My views and sales, will usually go up and down based on my activity on Etsy, (re-listing, new listing, promoting, etc.)

Hmmm... I haven't noticed much difference from day to day but I have noticed I'm most likely to get views in the afternoon/evening.
