I took a major hiatus from Etsy

I haven't actively listed in over a year and my sales show that..

Is that going to affect people buying from me?

yes n no.... i dont think the being open since xzy and only having xzy sales will.

But I do think it's a lot more cut throat here then it was then. Got to step up your game.
Photos have got to be great, SEO perfect..and redone a few times.

Phillip and Kathleen... I think Breanna is saying that photos and SEO are always a work in progress... constantly tweeked and redone to be optimal for the market and trends of the day and season.

My shop was on vacation the whole of last year too, but I'm up and running and giving it all I've got. So far it's been good! Only time will tell

What have you got to lose!? Even if you fear that your amount of sales may affect people from buying you, keep trying and bring those sales up! The sooner you get your butt in gear, the sooner things will pick up:). I don't think people necessarily even look at that. If I see something that I really love, I don't care how many sales you've had and I've seen plenty of shops with really cute stuff who are on vacation. Life happens. I think you can make it work (as long as you put your mind to it!). Good luck and welcome back:)
