Treasury Help?

can anyone tell me why my treasuries never get many views? am i doing something wrong? I think they look good? lol I dont get it!

What kind of promotion do you do with them ? Do you inform the sellers that they are featured ?

There's probably hundreds of treasuries made in a single day. You have to promote them to get decent views. Send a quick convo to the featured artists (not spammy, just a quick "Hi, I featured your item in this treasury" and leave the link.). Most sellers appreciated being notified and will promote the treasury on their own, which gives it even more exposure. Promote it on any teams you belong to that allow it. (not this one because it's not a promotional team). Share on FB, Twitter, your blog, etc.

Your treasuries are beautiful! Do you contact every person that you have included with a link to the treasury? Include a nice note encouraging them to take a peek, comment, favorite, tweet, share on Facebook, etc.

Also, join several teams and enter their treasury challenges. There are also teams just for creating treasuries.

If you want to attract the attention of the Etsy staff, make sure that most of your items have white backgrounds and include a mixture of handmade and vintage. Also, it helps to have a wide variety of items.

Nope, you have to do the work yourself! lol

Check out shmetsy.com. It's a great tool for creating treasuries and it has a convo sender too! It'll send out a convo to all the featured artists with one easy click.

This thread really got me to re-think my own approach...I never sent out convos and then would be disappointed that not even the featured sellers take a look.
Dawn, seeing your beautiful treasuries with such low views made me realize it really isn't necessarily about the quality.
So. I just 'pushed myself' (and hopefully this isn't seen as being pushy) and sent out convos to everyone featured in my last treasury, even though I made it 10 days ago, just before Christmas. It might be too late for this particular treasury, but I had tried to promote a few new photography shops that I like (along with the 'veterans'), so it is worth putting it 'out there' once again.
And in the future, if I am going to spend the time on making a treasury, I will also take the time sending out those convos!
