Today's views jumped from 2 to 89 in less than an hour

I renewed an expired listing about an hour ago. I went about my business doing other stuff, then decided to check my stats. I did a double take when I saw they went from 2 to over 80 since I renewed the listing. I only promoted my item in one team thread. 29 views are from the home page. I never get views from the home page. It's not on the front page now so it must have been from the recently listed items on the bottom of the page.

If only that spike in views could turn into a sale...

We need sale,s that's true, but if nobody sees our product we are not going to sale it, so views are a good starting point. And going from 2 to 80 is a huge improvement! I would be happy!

I've had this happen to me in the past and can't figure out why all of a sudden so many views

Were all those on one item? I have had 100 views in a short amount of time and it looked like it was one person clicking on almost all my items. Either way I hope it becomes sales for you down the road!!

Last Wed. Thurs and Friday my views were over 100 every day..no sales though. Over this weekend not more than 30 a day. ? who knows???

Congratulations on the jump! Others might say "don't celebrate views, celebrate sales", but guess what? You need people to see your shop before they buy things from it. :P

33 views were on the renewed listing, 29 of those came from the home page

16 were shop views

The rest were distributed through the rest of my shop (it does look like one person looked at everything)
