Agree with OP and might I add...You can't *make* people like or want your products (no matter how neat, functional, cute, stylish, etc YOU *think* they are). Not trying to be harsh, just realistic. There have been *many* items that I've created that I've *loved*, but my market said otherwise, they didn't sell after a valiant effort, so I quit making them and moved on until I found something my market accepted (and purchased).
Sometimes I think we (yes, me included) need to take a look at our products and decipher whether they truly are something people want, need, etc rather than spending countless hours trying to find a way to *make* someone buy our things.
