Thumb-twiddling shoppers?

Hi everyone,

It might just be my computer, but I wonder if, when you're going from page to page in my shop, if the pictures are popping up too slowly. I don't want shoppers to give up, but I'm worried they might.

Is it my computer that's slow, or do I need to use a lower megapixel setting? Right now I'm on 5MP, but then out of that I crop some, so that effectively brings it lower.

I hope it's not too much to ask for you to page through my shop a little to see how it moves.

Your items don't seem to pop up slower than anyone else's items (it takes maybe a half second to show up), so it might just be your computer. Unless my computer is just really fast.

By the way, all your items look so awesome and have so much charm and character! I love it :]

I just check out your shop and your items don't pop up slow. You have a nice shop.

I checked all 5 pictures on 5 of your items and they all opened right away. Have you tried defraging your computer & possibly removing some of your files & pics to an extrernal hard drive or flash drive? It might speed things up for you.

Your shop looks just fine to me! Photos are loading quickly.

Can you please tell me about the barcode thingy you have in some of your photos?

AlmondCrafts, the barcode thing is for certain smart phones, I believe, that are able to scan it and receive info on the item that has the barcode... I think. :]

May I say.. Your shop is sooo super awesome! Every item picture is amazing, even your banner looks cool!

I think maybe the picture files are too large? Not a problem for me, internet in Netherlands is lightning fast, so I had absolutely no problem.

p.s. Your shop is going to my favs now! (I'm kind of broke now, so at least I'll be able to find it quickly when that improves!)

@AlmondCrafts: I never answered your question about the code. That is called a QR code. When someone scans it with a smartphone, something will pop up--a web site, video, picture, etc. My code goes straight to my Facebook page. When I list an item that doesn't require all five photos, I use the QR code as a fifth photo. I don't know if I've gotten anyone Facebook fans yet, but I've just started putting it on there last week.

I'm not having any trouble at all loading your pics, and my Mac is not brand new. However, I have slow days with the Internet sometimes. Lovely wares in your store, by the way!
