Thrillist?

Our shop has been showing traffic from a website called Thrillist. Seems to be one of those sites that just talks about random gadgets, places to go and things to do, mostly in major cities around the U.S.

However, after searching the site with everything from our shop name to just bow or arrow, we can't find any mention of us on their site.

Does anyone know if/where/how we're mentioned on there? I've never heard of the site before, so I'm totally in the dark on this

It just might be where that viewer came from. Think of it as residue from their web travels.

So I've found out what is going on. Apparently today we were featured on their site for people local to Philly (who we are close to). Guessing the views yesterday were test-clicks for the site.

Now, please excuse me while I freak out a bit.

This has caused a huge jump in views todays. For people who have been featured on either the front page or on major websites - does it lead to an increase in sales? I'm gonna cross my fingers

Congrats!!!!! It's a great site. (and yes, BIG) I was featured on Thrillist/Chicago about a year ago and the sales were amazing!! I don't live anywhere near Chicago, so I have no idea how I was picked up. I did have a Chicago-themed piece. It will only last a few days before they rotate out, but yes, it was insane.

Interesting, I just did a look there is one in my area (Detroit anyway). Good for you, there is also advertising possibilities for those not lucky enough to be just featured, I may just give that a try :)

I definitely suggest checking it out. The site is pretty cool, and a great way to get your name out to a local market. There's no such thing as too much good publicity
