Thoughts on New Homepage??

Seems as though Etsy has changed the home page once again! What do you all think about it? Do you think it will be better or worse for exposure? You can't even see the front page treasury unless you scroll down! It's starting to look more like a blog page.

I'm not too fond of the recommended shops on the front either. First it invaded my activity feed, now the homepage.

I mean there is a chance I'm showing up on someone else's activity feed or homepage which might be views/sales. But still, don't really care for the look.

I know...I have the same question, Amy! They put it there but they didn't let the sellers know they were going to do it or if there was a special way to become a recommended shop.

Another test? I see three browse boxes. Weddings/Rings, Spring Celebrations/St. Patrick's, and Gifts/Jewelry

so the headers are gone, the viewing boxes got pulled apart…like the old look much better, but not oppose to change at all…

I actually have liked the shops recommended to me but have the same question - how are they chosen? What chance does MY shop have of being recommended to another user?

I do like it that I think I see a larger variety of items other than the curated, same as yesterday items.

I like the new front page. I think it's good to mix things up every once in a while to make things fresh, and It's another opportunity to possibly be featured, now in the recommended shops.

I will be glad when we can have the option of rearranging our shops, so that they look purposeful again! I do like the larger photos, but I also miss the banner.

As a seller, I miss my featured items, and I'm not pleased with the quality of the larger photos, although this is apparently a bug.

As a buyer, I miss the shop info that used to be on the left - sections, number of sales and date the shop opened especially.

Usually I'm really positive about change and improvement but not this time.
I don't like the new homepage at all! I miss my banner and the opportunity to rearrange my shop :(

Missing the branding opportunity of the banner but my views are actually up since the "test" change. I just don't like that every shop looks like the other, but I do like the larger pics.

Yes, I do wish that the sections were listed at the left instead of having to click the button to see them, that seems pretty non-intuitive
