Tax ID input page not working

I went ahead and put my shop on vacation rather than having my shop closed. Because...

I am unable to input my tax info id - I get an error message. The function is broken. Meanwhile, my shop could be closed if if I sell $60 more of stuff. I am having a sale so it may happen today. Well, so much for my sale. There is no chat function today. What happened to customer service? Are they all off today?

I talked to a customer service agent and they told me to put a space after my first name. For some reason this worked. The first customer service agent I talked to, before this one, said there was a glitch causing this and that they are working on it. Hopefully this works for you.

Thanks! It worked. Maybe Etsy should let all of their support people know about this work-around.
