I'm taking a poll -

Do you like to be notified if you've been featured in a treasury list?

When I create a treasury I like to notify all those featured as I like to be notified when I am featured in order to say thank you and comment on it. It's difficult when you are a part of so many circles and are busy creating to check the activity feed, in my opinion. And I really do like to know when I've been featured. It's encouraging to know what people are responding to. In addition, I always write something like "treasury" in the subject line, when sending a treasury notification, so sellers know whether it's from a customer or not.

I wish Etsy had an option for sellers to opt out of being in treasuries so that those who think it's obnoxious when someone takes the time to feature and promote them don't have to be offended.

Then those of us who curate treasuries would be able to feature only those who appreciate it.

I have done one treasury and the way I did it was to look through my activity feed and pick out pink items to list on the treasury. It would have taken me all day to leave messages for everyone who I put in.

I like to be notified. I don't always look at my activity feed.

When I make a treasury I send a message to let them know, but I just put "Treasury Feature" in the topic part so they'll know what the message is about before they open it, so if they don't want to read it just click delete.

I dont mind being notified but dont tell me to "share, post, blah blah, that is just rude and annoying.

I don't always see it in my activity feed. And I find it time consuming to notify everyone. But with that, it is nice to know when your in a treasury. So I have mixed thoughts on it. Yes,it would be nice to be notified.

I don't mind being contacted if my work is in a treasury - or if the person shares their blog link in their email. If I like the theme of the treasury I'll usually share it.

I like getting a notification, as I don't keep up with my activity feed. I check it, perhaps, a couple of times a day. I do take the time to comment and promote the treasury.

I notify when I do treasuries, but I keep it very brief. The topic line says, "You have been treasured!", and then I just add a short note with a link to the treasury. I don't ask them to promote or favorite or anything else. I know that some of the people I featured are very busy, so I try to be mindful of their time.

@Hoooked, once again, I LOVE being IN treasuries and I ALWAYS favorite them, make a comment and promote them on my FB, Twitter, to other teams, etc. It's simply the notification convo I don't like. And I guess it's really because all too often, they're really just promotional emails with allll of the curator's various social media and website links.

I like the notification, but I do a search anyway to make sure that I didn't miss one. I always try to like and comment on treasuries I am in.

Yes, I like to be notified and I am always grateful to be included. Sometimes I miss it in my activity feed.

I like getting a convo when someone features me, even though I do regularly check my activity feed. I never bother replying to the convo, but always comment & favorite the treasury.

When I make treasuries, sometimes I go out of my way NOT to include shops with hundreds of sales... And I do send a convo to the people I include.

I love it when someone includes my art in a treasury and YES, I like being notified. However, I can understand it when I'm not convoed as it all takes SO MUCH TIME. :D

I don't feel the need to be notified. I see them in my activity feed, and I get tons of the messages, so it can be overkill at times.

I appreciate being put in them, though. It's just that I stay on top of my feed, so it's not necessary.

I like to be notified...and as far as taking a lot of time to notify those that YOU treasure..all you do is click of the first one and give the link and the message.
Right click copy and go on to the next one and click on it and paste . You can paste all of the remaining 15..it takes less than 2 minutes to send them all.
It would be nice if some posters were able to keep their attitudes mellowed out. A yes or no would work. We are here to support each other right? I

I like to tweet all the treasuries I'm in and sometimes if they don't let me know I miss it on my feed.

Activity feed is sufficient for me. Otherwise I feel like it's yet one more email I have to respond to. And I do respond when someone writes me to tell me I'm in their treasury.

I like being notified. I don't always look at my feed, so it's nice to know I have been featured. I appreciate the time they take to add me and to convo me.

I really appreciate being included in treasuries and don't mind at all being notified. In fact I prefer being notified. Sometimes I have missed it in my feed even after filtering the feed to just my shop.

I don't mind to be notified, I appreciate the time they took in putting a treasury together and including one of my items - and that the curator also would like to have traffic to the treasury they put time in. I was rather disappointed when I missed a treasury where one of my rings was featured - I noticed it after about two months, it had very little views and comments maybe other people missed it too - like me.

Yes, I definitely like it, I think it feels nice (and also a bit of a personal contact). I also always convo myself. Some people answer and are excited, some people don't answer.
I'm quite active in checking my activity feed, but it can be quite busy - missed at least a couple of treasuries (and noticed at least some accidentally later when I've been looking at that particular item and seen that it is included in a treasury).

I'd rather not receive the convo either. That's the whole point of the activity feed. :)
