Tags

Me and my brother recently reopened our shop and have been uploading a lot of new phone cases. It has been very hard to come up with tags and not make them similar to other tags I already use on other items. Anyone have any good tips on how to find/use good tags for items? For example I use "cool iPhone case" "pretty iPhone case" for all my cases but I feel that it just is clustered and doesn't do good in searches. Thanks! :)

Hi there Jake! You have to remember that you are trying to think like a costumer. Your tags should appeal to the masses, they're not supposed to keep you out of the search. If someone was to be looking for a case, they will search for a smartphone case, iphone case, iphone 4 case, metal phone case, customized case, personalized case, plastic case, silicon case, thin case, waterproof phone case, etc.

Remember, think like them!

Very helpful advice to apply to my shop items as well. It is hard to think like a shopper sometimes!

Have you tried using Google Adwords? It's free and very helpful.
