Suspcious Convo

Hi guys

I received what I think is a suspicious convo asking me to send a set of my greeting cards to the person's girlfriend, (this person has not purchased them), and for me to contact them through the email address they left. It doesn't seem legit from reading it a few times. The person just joined today and has no feedback.

I am guessing this is spam?

Sounds like a possible scam in the works. Why doesn't this person just go ahead and buy the cards and include a note asking you to mail the cards to someone else?

I know, that's what I thought. They asked me to ship the item for the amount and contact them through email. I can't pronounce the user name either.

I have received a lot of scam messages addressed to "sir." Also asking me if the item listed was still in good condition and how I would ship it. This was for a custom web design listing. :-/

Avoid at all costs. Do not continue conversing. Forward the message to abuse@etsy.com

You should contact the Help team from Etsy, you can chat with them and explain how is going on... i think is the best thing to do.

yes i get that sometimes too, it is totally scam. send to the abuse@etsy.com for sure.
