Suggestions needed to improve views and sales

Hi everyone,

I have been on etsy for a couple of months now and I thought I was follwong all the things that people say you need to do to increase your views and sales.
Now I am starting to belive that something must be wrong, there is still something that I must be missing and I just can't figure it out. So I am asking everyone who is having better results for help.
My views are currenlty around 130 a week. Sales? not so much I had only 3 sales so far and all of them were around christmas, so I am not sure wether that counts as a real success.
But what is it really that I dont get more views or sales. Is it my prices? Is it my prictures, is it my key words???? I have updated all of the pictures and I have changed my key word, i did see that the views did go up when I did that but it seems like it is not enough yet.

Please, please, please, help me out and be very honest in your suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong. You don't have to sugar coat it just be honest!!!

Hi Miriam,

Your items are beautiful! The one thing that I did notice is that on some of your listings, you may only have one or two photo's. You might want to take enough different pictures to fill up all 5 of your photo spots. Get different angles, up-close on the beads, and maybe one of the hole piece (thinking of the necklaces, so we can see the closure).

Also if you have similar items but in a different color, include a link so they can see more of your listings.

One more... you might want to give measurements in both inches and millimeters. Since you ship international not everyone measures in centimeters.

thats some good advice. I will get to some of these thing right this weekend. I happen to have another photo session so I will make sure to pay attention to that.

I think I have a problem with shipping rates. I live in Perú and the shipping of one of my lamps cost almost the same of the item. Maybe I can balance the cost of the item and the shipping? maybe 60-40?

Yes! I think if you raise the cost of your item and lower your shipping rates, as long as you don't lose money in shipping, it'll still look good.
