Slow down for Wedding vendors in the summer?

All this talk about summer slow downs - we are wondering if the wedding vendors feel the effects of summer slow down) as well.
Is the summer slow down in home goods and personal wear or is it all of Etsy?

Just wondering what to expect :)

I've had a definite slowdown on sales of wedding items. Of course, this is my first year on Etsy, so I'm not sure if that's the norm or not.

I have seen a shift in what has been selling. Normally I sell more chalkboard mats than anything else but kn the last two months baby bibs and burp cloths have been the bigger seller. Summer must be babyshower season as well as wedding season? Not sure why but that is what I have noticed for me.

Most brides plan ahead and most weddings are in the summer, so there is a little slow down for certain items that would get purchased well before the wedding. Mostly little last minute items like seating charts, place cards, table numbers and things of that nature are what I get a lot of in the summer. There are a far amount of fall weddings too, so if you are in a slump I'd suggest making some fall themed items for the summer, that way the fall brides have lots of time to order! I started making more fall themed invitations last year and I have quite a few fall weddings that I am making invitations for now because of planning ahead!

I just started my shop last December, and June has been my best month ever by far. Ever since April every month has been way better than the last. Everybody talks about the summer slow downs, but so far I haven't felt it at all. I sell jewelry but I have some wedding party items, maybe that's why… Thou people say that wedding season ends in June :(
I am also not quite sure how my sales are going to be for the coming month.
I am interest to find out and hear about other wedding vendors.

I'm not a wedding vendor but some of my prints are wedding gifts and sales have been great.

Well, it depends on what type of wedding items you sell. My items tend to be more last minute purchases, so I am busy from March-September.

But, if you sell something like dresses or invites, you will be busier in different times, since those are some of the first things brides will buy.
