Slow day?

Is anyone else having a slow day? I mean for me everything about Etsy all day today has been dead, no activity, no messages, very few shop views. Yesterday was fine but today its like everyone dropped of the face of the earth. I even signed out and signed in again and it didn't change anything. Is this happening for anyone else? Is Etsy doing maintenance that I'm not aware of?

Its just odd as I've had slow days shop wise but its just strange that I've had 0 activity feed all day or messages etc.

I've had sales everyday but today...I figure everyone is at the mall.

True, its getting to the point now where shipping for x-mas gifts getting there on time is iffy.

Views have been slowing down, but I did get a sale 2 days ago.

I'm thinking that most people have stopped shopping online fearing they won't get it in time, though I've got deadlines in my shop all the way up until the 21st...

My views have been off the charts today! Yesterday was a slowish day, today things have really picked up especially from outside of Etsy. No sales from it though but at least my items are being promoted :)

Thursdays are consistently slow for me. Every week I have a really great Sunday through Wednesday and I think "Okay this is good!" Then every single Thursday everything comes to a screeching halt until they pick up again on Sunday. During that time I think"My store is a failure!" LOL It's a roller coaster ride.

Yesterday was slow for me as well but today was dead. Not one look at the shop. i bet everyone is getting ready for holiday parties. :)

this is my second Christmas on Etsy and I've been busy. The orders coming in are made to order and I know time is short to get things delivered and I don't want to dissappoint so I feel like the princess in Rumplestiltskin spinning straw into gold. But this is a good thing !! and next year I will be more prepared with some of my better sellers stocked up.

My views picked up a little later in the day after I listed a few new items and re-activated one. The brand new items didn't get any search hits but the newly activated one brought in more traffic. I hope I sell my 2013 calendar items soon.

Busy here, 3 orders from my ready-to-ship sections and a convo wanting a custom item made and shipped out of the country to arrive by Christmas. I politely explained that I am not super woman. ;-)

The same thing happened to me I was really busy for so long and then starting really on Wed it was totally dead I guess with USPS Saying that guarantee Christmas delivery regular mail has ended and only priority mail would get there before xmas that nobody wants really to spend the extra cash.

OP..yep. my shop has slowed alot over the last two days. very sudden. still trying to get a few more sales though. i'm matched with last year and i wanted to get more sales than last year at this time. hum.

Sales are still coming in here and I just accepted a couple of custom orders yesterday. 2 customers asked me to remake items that recently sold. I said yes because they are quick enough and I have the supplies. I wish it would slow down a little. I need to do Christmas shopping! lol

it is 14th here and 2pm and I woked up to 0 sales, everyday in past 30 days Im having around 6-20 sales around now, so yes it is a VERY slow day here!

Thursday are typically slow for me. I'm finally learning to just take it in stride and keep working.

I've been trying to decide on dedicating one day to do non-production work. It just occurred to me that perhaps Thursdays should be that day.
