Slow June??

Greeting, all.

Has June been slow for anyone else? April and May were both booming (I sold 20 orders during each month), but June has been painfully slow. I’m not even getting the same volume of “favorites”. Is anyone else having this problem?

June is always a slow month for me but I am already close to matching last years sales & I'm okay with that. A few more sales would be nice and never looked down upon. :)

Sloth comes to mind...I did have two items sell on Saturday while I was out and about when my phone chimed I was so excited...then saw it was one of my sisters LOL

Nothing so far. Thought economy was picking up, but no evidence of that in our shop

No sales in June so far, and I had 5 in May. Just started thinking that my shop was taking off and ....... quiet quiet.....

I have had an order this evening and 5 so far this month so I will think myself lucky. April and May were great, but finding it really slow this month. But that's Etsy, we have to ride the waves! Keep smiling, it will pick up again :)

I've had 13 so far this month, but I have seen a lot of threads from other sellers having a slow month. I think its different for everyone depending on what you sell, how you promote etc.

Its been slow for me too. Last year it was slow from spring to fall.
This month I've only sold 4 items so far, but haven't been adding items or updating things a whole lot, so part of it is my fault.
I look at some other etsy jewelry shops that sell similar things to me, and they sell so much, for twice the price. Even during the slow times. I wonder how they do it! I want to ask, but have a feeling they might be too busy to even respond...lol.

much slower for me than May, but certainly better than last June so I am keeping busy getting ready for my CIJ sale and creating/photogrphing lots of new goodies for August and beyond :)

June has been good for me, 59 orders so far! I am on track to beat last june's sales in my shop, probably because I have alot more inventory listed compared to last year...

Yup, slow here too. I have been steadily building momentum every month and I was so pleased to finally have the ball rolling. Then June hit and it's been crickets. But in the past week there has been a little flickering. Hope it continues!

It is the same for me, too. Views are down by about 1/4, and sales are way down. I had 34 orders last month and only 9 so far this month. I hope this isn't a sign of what's to come for the entire summer!

Its been good for me, I've already surpassed my sales goal for the month so any other orders are just icing on the cake. I think I finally found the ever elusive "niche market" for my items. Since introducing a new line of items in March I've seen a BIG boost in orders. I also raised my prices which has been a very good decision, sales haven't dropped and I'm making a fair price for my labor now.

I have had 4 sales this month BUT I can't complain I just opened in April, so I am happy. I do want it to pick up though.

I too am slow...still had what was almost my "normal" monthly sales before 2013 but I have been getting spoiled to breaking my records through the first and second quarters.

It is good though cause I have a show on July 4 weekend so this is giving me time to prep and get things in order. I am hoping that will bring good sales.

Actually this entire year has been super slow for me..I don't understand why.? But I'm sure things will pick back up for you and all of us around August/September..those happened to be my busiest months last year.

Slow is definitely for sure, my views are crazy low and only 1 sale this month.. I was slow in April & May because I had a son getting married so I understood because I was not focusing on the shop or adding new stuff but I have been trying so hard this month but apparently not hard enough. I know I keep hearing June, July are slow months because school is out and everyone is on vacation so I need to be fixing my pics and listings and making new stuff to be prepared for next month but I still often wonder if its just my shop thats not appealing anymore :((

so slow for me, I have so much money tied up in inventory, and I want to buy more supplies because I have all these ideas and projects half finished waiting for chain, but I need to make sales to buy more supplies; :(
