Sloooow February

Anyone else have a slow February? I've had a "whopping" 3 sales so far.
Not what I was hoping for in February!
How do you deal with these slow times? I've been listing more items and making plans for new spring products. Really hoping the sales improve before long, though!

Yes, very slow month. May be due to tax season and the unknown tax cuts due to happen!

Yes- much the same here, unfortunately. I'm down from last year on sales, so I'm nowhere near any of my 2013 goals yet!
At times like this, I bring out some new products to try and increase views into my shop. I always want to carry on creating things!

Way slow here. I hate to even say it, but March has been the month with the least sales volume for me for the last 3 years. I'm really hoping it's just a shift and March won't be as bad. We might have to wait till tax returns really start cranking out to see a big lift :(

I noticed that February had less sales and views than January.

30 or so sales so far this month... I just opened on the first day of the new year so it came as a pretty big shock, honestly. i had no idea if I would sell anything, ever. Lol. But I do custom long distance relationship maps so at one point before vday i did like 10 in 3 days! Now it has slowed down a lot. I think it totally depends on what category you sell in!

Actually, I've doubled sales in both my shops over last year, but I have much better photos.

I'm reading Walmart is having the worst Feburary since 2008.

I think people are worried about taxes and scared to spend.

Terribly slow here too! Don't think it's the change in int'l postage as 2 of my 5 Feb. sales were out of the country.

February isn't over yet. There is still time. My shop has been slow this month too!

I'm doing better this February than last so I can't complain. But I have been spending less myself because I expect to owe taxes this year--I'll bet there are lots of other would-be shoppers in the same boat.

Things ground to a screeching halt (almost) since Valentine's Day :( (sales, views are about average though.)

April was my slowest month last year, but it was only my first year selling so I can't do a fair comparison...

Hope things go back to better than normal soon!

Only 4 sales for me!!! I have nothing to compare, only been here since June, but I really wish it was busier!!!!

Jan and Feb this year have been my best months yet! That's not saying much at 7 sales each month, but far better than I did last year.

Very slow for me so far this year. Zero sales. Working on more variety on my shop. Promoting in more places and hope to turn favorites into purchases. Started editing the pics I took yesterday and will have them up by Friday.

So far, just one sale and a small custom order for Feb.

Very slow month and was discouraged but I have to remember it's not forever. Being new to Etsy I can't allow myself to get down. I now look at it as a challenge to me and it makes my mind work that much harder in the creative process. A challenge I take on with pleasure. Hang in there, it's all good even when you think it's bad!

No sales this month, in fact, no sales ever. Joined in August 2011, but let my shop go inactive over the past 6 months due to some general confusion in life.... Now, have re-opened my shop with some new found enthusiasm to give it a try all over again. If anyone has the time or interest to critique my shop, I'd love to hear from you. Glad to be part of the team, and best wishes to everyone in their endeavors...

I have been wondering what the heck is going on? My stats are very low, and I have been renewing listings and trying everything to get traffic to the shop. even with valentines people seem to be having a horribly slow month.
I have tried sales in the past with no luck...folks who bought didn't even use the coupon codes...any suggestions on running a sale?

Views have been down, along with sales--I'm hoping once I clear all the reserved item outs of the shop that customers won't feel so intimidated!

Very slow for me, too - and I don't know what it's like for things to be fast, because I only started working on my shop last month. I'm hoping it's true that January and February are just slow months and things pick up, but it's so easy to get discouraged when nothing you do seems to bring in sales.

Did not have a single sale in Febuary yet.
Views are low as well.
I have retaken a lot of my pictures in the last couple of days.

I opened in February last year and had one sale, I have had 6 this year, so at least an improvement, I dare not complain
