Shop Review

Can I please get a shop review? I recently just re-did almost all of my photos. I also adjusted prices as well as shipping prices. (I added shipping into my prices to lower shipping prices) I'd like some constructive criticism on how my shop looks, my titles, my tags, my photos. Everything. Thank you guys

Re: Shop Review

Your items are very lovely!
Photos - Most of them seem nice and show what the item was clearly. Like how you have a photo of the color choices!
Also use all five spaces for your photos. Customers are online shopping. They need full detail! Try all different angles and directions.
Tags - Uses phrases not just one word. Think like a buyer!
Profile information is great.:-)
Perhaps work on your about page. Just finished updating ours.
hope that helps!

Wow, I just want to say that I LOVE your pictures! They really show off your items and it is so helpful to see them on a person. Can't think of anything critical to say. Good work!

Re: Shop Review

Thank you both for the comments. Tags are the hardest things for me to come up with. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
Also about using all 5 photos, I don't know if I can get the same model to pose for the photos again, do you think that would look strange to have a different person in the photos?

Re: Shop Review

Hi Angel.

I really do like the photos! The focus does draw them right to the scarves.

For your tags, make sure that your tags and titles match so they come up in the search.

For instance, the title for this listing could be: Green Knit Scarf, Knit Cowl, Cowl with Buttons, Thick Green Scarf, Forrest Green Scarf. Than have the tags match the title. For the most part, the tags on this are pretty ok. Steer clear of the single word tags though.

Re: Shop Review

Super weird, when I click on that photo of the scarf it's showing me different tags than what I have! Some are the same but for example Scarf and Knitting are not tags I have for that item. Maybe that's the category?

Re: Shop Review

Your pictures look great. Your banner is awesome. Tags are hard for me too. I have sold 20 orders and I only have 7 reviews. Don't fret about the reviews. I remember hearing on one of the classes awhile back if you do not not get a review back on your item that means the customer is happy. You must be doing something right : ) Your shop is awesome and keep up the great work!

Re: Shop Review

Hi, I would say no problem at all having more than one model. A number of shops do. Also, read in a thread recently that the order of the words in your title and your tags should be the same. Don't know if that is correct, but I noticed that yours are not. For example, If your title is pink chunky cowl, one of your tags should be pink chunky cowl.

When you make a new listing, at the top you fill in the categories, etc. I think that is probably what you are seeing with the extra tags. All of my items have the tags 'jewelry' and 'necklace' because of that.

Good job!
