Shipping weight restrictions

I'm trying to ship a large order to Hong Kong. The package weighs 7 lbs and Etsy is not allowing me to print a label...says maximum weight is 4lbs. What do you do in this case?

I was going to print using the USPS site, but being the address is international it is a little confusing. ??

The maximum for first class is 4 lbs. can you package it into 2 parcels?

There is flat rate priority International.

I already have it packaged, plus if I were to ship in two boxes it would end up costing a lot more than one box..however I may have to if I can't figure something out. : (

it would cost less if both boxes were under 4 lbs.

Over 4lbs, the price goes up substantially

7 lbs runs around $65-70 via USPS

look into other carriers
